Terms of Use

Version 2026-11-03-draft · 7 November 2026

Draft, not yet in force. Trade Quotes is in testing. These terms will be finalised before paid use opens, and you'll be asked to agree to the final version.

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and [Your legal name, or company name and company number], trading as Mojo-Wikit ("we", "us"), of [postal address]. They cover your use of Trade Quotes at quotes.mojo-wikit.com ("the service"). Contact us at support@quotes.mojo-wikit.com.

By setting up your login, starting a trial or paying for a plan, you accept these terms. If you accept them for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2. Who can use Trade Quotes

Trade Quotes is for businesses: sole traders, partnerships and companies using it for their trade. It is not for personal use as a consumer, and you must be 18 or over.

Access is by invitation. We may decline or withdraw an invitation before an account is set up.

3. Your account

4. What Trade Quotes does, and what it can't promise

Trade Quotes helps you build quotes. It reads your list of materials and labour, matches items to your saved parts, looks up prices on builders' merchant websites, reads merchant receipts, and produces a PDF in your branding. It can also turn an accepted quote into an invoice, make an invoice for a small job without a quote, and make credit notes to correct invoices.

Some of this is done by artificial intelligence (AI) and by reading public websites, so:

5. Free trial

New accounts get a 14-day free trial with 100 AI credits. No card is needed. The trial ends automatically: nothing is charged unless you choose a plan. After it ends you can still sign in, view and download your quotes, but you need a plan to create new ones or use AI features.

6. Plans, payment and renewal

Plan Price AI credits
Monthly £20 a month 500 a month
Annual £200 a year 500 a month
Founder (by invitation) £10 a month 500 a month
Top-up £5 500, one-off

7. AI credits

AI credits pay for the features that use AI: reading a job list, searching merchant websites and reading receipts. As a guide, a merchant search uses about 5 credits, and reading a job list or a receipt uses 1–2. Saved parts and prices you type in use none.

8. Cancelling and refunds

You can cancel at any time from Manage billing in Settings. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, and then stops renewing. We don't refund part-used periods or used credits.

If we close the service, or close your account for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund the unused part of any period you've paid for and any unused top-up credits.

9. Fair use

You must not:

10. Your data

11. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep Trade Quotes running and secure, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. We may need to pause it for maintenance, sometimes without notice. We may improve or change features. If a change takes away something important you pay for, we'll tell you in advance, and you can cancel and get a refund under section 8.

The service relies on third parties, including merchant websites we don't control. A merchant may block or change its website, and search results for that merchant may then stop working.

12. Suspension and closing an account

13. Liability

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. We'll email you at least 30 days before a change that affects you, unless it is needed sooner for legal or security reasons. If you don't agree, you can cancel before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.

15. General

Schedule: data processing terms

This Schedule covers the personal data of your customers, and of any subcontractors you pay, that you put into Trade Quotes. Under the UK GDPR you are the controller of that data and we are your processor.

Item Details
What the data is Names, postal and site addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of your customers, any notes you keep on them in your saved customer list, and the job details in your quotes and invoices. For online quotes: what your customer types when they accept, decline or ask a question, any signature they draw, the time, their IP address and browser, and when the quote was opened. For card and bank payments: when your customer's pay link was opened, and the payments they make (amount, how, when and Stripe's reference), but never their card or bank details, which only Stripe sees. If you use "Paying subcontractors": your subcontractors' names, contact details, Unique Taxpayer References, National Insurance or company numbers, CIS rates and verification numbers, and your payments to them
Whose data Your customers and prospective customers, and subcontractors you pay
What we do with it Store it, show it to you, keep your saved customer list (added to automatically when you send a quote or issue an invoice), and put it on the quote and invoice PDFs you create. For a lost-quote review we use only the first half of a postcode, and take customer details out of what is sent to AI. If you use Talk it through, turn what you say into text and sort it into the quote. If you bring your records in, read the files you upload and turn them into saved customers, parts, quotes and invoices. If you send quotes online, show the quote to your customer on a private page, record what they do there and tell you. If you take card and bank payments, show your customer what's owed on a private page, start the payment with Stripe on your account, and record and tell you when it's paid. If you pay subcontractors, keep their details (UTRs and National Insurance numbers encrypted), work out the CIS on your payments, and make their monthly statements and your return figures for you to use
How long While your account is open, then deleted 30 days after it closes. Files you upload to bring your records in are deleted when you finish, or after 7 days at the latest

We will:

  1. Process the data only to provide the service and on your documented instructions, which are these terms and how you use the service, including for any transfer outside the UK. If we're legally required to do something else, we'll tell you first unless the law forbids it. We'll tell you straight away if we think an instruction breaks data protection law.
  2. Make sure anyone who can access the data is bound by confidentiality.
  3. Keep the data secure with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords and keeping each business's data separate.
  4. Use only the sub-processors listed in our Privacy Notice, which you authorise by accepting these terms. We'll give you at least 30 days' notice of a new one, and you can object. If we can't resolve the objection, you can close your account and get a refund under section 8. We'll put contracts in place with sub-processors that protect the data to the same standard, and we remain responsible to you for what they do.
  5. Transfer the data outside the UK only with the safeguards the UK GDPR requires.
  6. Help you, as far as we reasonably can, to respond to requests from your customers to exercise their rights, and with security, breach notification, data protection impact assessments and any consultation with the ICO.
  7. Tell you without undue delay, and within 48 hours where we can, after we become aware of a personal data breach affecting the data.
  8. When your account closes, let you download your quotes and data first, then delete the data as in the table above, unless the law requires us to keep it.
  9. Give you the information you reasonably need to show that these obligations are met, and allow and contribute to reasonable audits on reasonable notice.

Your customer details and AI. Customer names and contact details you type are not sent to AI. If you use Talk it through, what you say, including any customer details you say, goes to ElevenLabs to be turned into text and to our AI provider to fill in the quote; we don't keep the recording or the text. Job lists, part names and receipt photos are sent to AI, so avoid putting customer details in those. If you bring your records in, the PDFs and photos you upload are sent to our AI provider whole, and Word documents as their text, customer details included, to be read; from spreadsheets only the headings and a few rows are sent, with email addresses and phone numbers hidden. A lost-quote review sends that quote's job, notes and lines with the first half of the postcode (for example IP14); we take out the customer's name, address, phone and email where they appear word for word, and any other postcode, phone number or email address.
